  • My 23rd Birthday

Passing 23 and beginning 24 has a different feeling now! I think being 23 years old is a little different from being 22 or 21 years, isn't it?! It's like leaving an stage and beginning another! I'm moving from this stage of my life when I'm forced to do the worst thing that I ever could anticipate and waste over two years of my life on such stupid things like a required military service and dealing with idiots. Although I've already passed eight months but 12 months (simply a...
  • It's Fall Already!

Wow! Finally it came here! My favorite season is here to save my body and mind! You can remember what I wrote about summer, warm weather and my difficulties and my hope to see the fall coming as soon as possible! Even though I'm so busy these days, but thank to the better weather, I can handle things easier! October, the month of good things, is coming as well and the best thing is my birthday!! Weather is cloudy, birds are silent, mailbox is empty of emails, blog is empty of comment spams, task...
  • Managing My Days

Sometimes it happens though! I've experienced this many many times in my life and it still happens. It seems that reading all those books and articles about life hacks and project management hasn't had any effect!! As you may have noticed both from my blogging and other community activities, recently I've been so busy and haven't had the opportunity to keep myself up as well as the past and couldn't keep up blogging regularly like the past couple of years. Even though most of...
  • My New Pocket PC: HTC P4350

Over the past 3.5 years, I've been using a Qtek 2020 Pocket PC to manage my business life! That PPCPE had Windows Mobile 2003 installed by default but I upgraded its ROM image to Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition. I was a member of first groups of the wave of people who bought Windows Mobile devices here (Symbian is the most popular OS locally!). For almost two years, it was an excellent device for me but after new releases of Windows Mobile and breaking some parts of its LCD, I didn't attend...
  • My Military Service After Six Months

Today I finished the sixth month of my military service and tomorrow will begin the seventh! Despite the fact that I'm suffering from everything in this service, but passing the six is very good and makes me happy because now I know that there are 14 months remained rather than those 20 at the beginning! On the other hand, these six months were harder to pass than others! Things have been a little better than other months recently (these recent a few days) but I think they'll return to the...
  • Off to Kermanshah Again

A few minutes after sending this post, I'll get off to airport to fly to Kermanshah with my family to attend my cousin's wedding. I'll be off for two days and won't check my mailbox in these couple of days. This is a good opportunity for me to rest from the computer world. In the recent weeks, I've been a pure coder and haven't had any free time for myself. By days, I pass my service as a coder and software support guy and by nights, I write my own codes. One point may be...
  • This Terrible Summer

I don't like summers at all. There are many reasons but the most important one is the weather and its effects on my daily routine. When it gets warmer, I get tired more and more and go beyond the schedule even if I stay somewhere cool and watch its walls all day long!! This is one of the most annoying things in life for me. In the past years, I could change my daily routine to work more at nights but this year I can't manage my time easily. I should spend the main part of a day at military...
  • Photos From My Trip to Western Areas

After that short trip , finally I'm at home and am trying to know what has happened to this world during my short vacation! Trip was very good. We began our trip by going to Sanandaj then went to Marivan and finally to Kermanshah. We enjoyed the great nature and very old history in these cities and all towns that we saw while driving in roads. Photos that I've taken from this trip are uploaded to my Flickr . You can see my photos from Sanandaj , Marivan , Kermanshah and Hamedan . Read More...
  • Off to Kermanshah

While community members are heading off to Tech-Ed 2007 in Orlando, I'm heading off to hometown! My buddies know that I'm born in Kermanshah , a western city near borders with Iraq. From tomorrow and for a few days I have an opportunity to get off to a short vacation and I chose my hometown for this vacation until Thursday. After military training and 3.5 months of service, I'm so tired mentally and physically and need to refresh everything because I know some busy months are ahead and...
  • My Military Service After Three Months

Yes, tomorrow third month of my military service ends and I can't say that it went fast! Normally times goes fast but not for someone who is in pain!! After finishing my training and moving to new company, things got better. I took off my military clothes and began my service like an employee but in fact there is a distinction between me and normal employees. Now after one month, I'm adapting myself with new life. From Saturday to Wednesday, I go out at 6:00 AM IRDT to begin my service at...
  • First Impressions of My Military Service in New Organization

As I had noted on my army blog I began my military service in new organization (named Etka) on Sunday. This organization is a division of Iran Ministry of Defense. I serve in an office where is 10 miles far from Tehran (in west). Unfortunately it's far from my home and it takes 1.5-2 hours to get there or return to home. In these three days I had to spent 13 hours of my time to go there, work for them and return to home so there was almost no time for anything else. After arriving home I'm...
  • Second Lieutenant Keyvan Nayyeri

Yes, It's finished! All those pains are gone and I returned to home. Today I became a Second Lieutenant in Iran Ministry of Defense (this place is an important place in our world, at least for now!) where I had started my required military service two months ago. I don't want to get in more details about training and what has happened to me during the past eight weeks of my life and will write about this on my army blog (I swear) but just want to let all my friends and readers know that I can get...
  • Return to Flickr

Before falling in code love like an addiction and spending all my time on coding stuff and reading books I had two main interests that left them two years ago: playing Guitar and digital photography. I was one of active FotoPages users before Flickr days. There I could find a great friend, Chris Bailey , who is really a great intermediate photographer and had great advices for me. My FotoPage was a good hobby for me for some months but suddenly Chris informed us about something new that was named...
  • Off to North Areas

Dave says Iranian Army must be party central but he doesn't know what they have done with us in first half of our compact training to let us be at home for new year eve and holidays! I'm going to be off to north areas (near Caspian Sea ) with my family for a short vacation to forget my pains. Still I'm sick but I hope I can leave drugs very soon (it's one month that I'm using different drugs). I really need this short vacation to get better (both mentally and physically). Next year is the year of...
  • Home Sweet Home

Again, I'm at home but this time for a longer holiday for our new year holidays named Norouz (new year starts from next Tuesday). It seems my machines don't like to work when I'm not at home so some other problems stopped the process of publishing my written posts on this blog during this week. Next time I'll use other machines for back up to prevent this. However, I'll publish those posts with my new posts in next days quickly. I'm at home for nine days and this is a good opportunity to live like...
